43108 was named "BBC Television Railwatch" in 1989 for a short period to accompany the BBC series. It was named at Kings Cross, and was followed for the week up and down the East Coast Mainline. Dedicated to John Swaby RIP, the first driver to drive 43108 under the new name. The series also followed John throughout the week.
